Segregation was no accident but, a systemic and strategic design that was implemented with the cooperation of all sectors: local, state and federal government, real estate profession, lending, city planning, law, and education, etc. Are you interested to know more?

Inhabit is joining a city-wide book read facilitated by LISC Milwaukee and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council on the book, The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America by Richard Rothstein. The goal is to raise awareness of the history of segregation in major cities across the U.S., including Milwaukee, so that we can be better informed as we explore viable solutions moving forward.

Richard Rothstein will be coming to Milwaukee on Oct. 16 to speak on his book.  This is a free event, but seating is limited!  Click now for more information and to reserve your seat
