John Hippe, Board President
John is Global Professional Manager at Crisis Prevention Institute. As a Masters prepared Social Worker John has experience training and consulting with schools, hospitals, human service organizations, and mental health services in the area of crisis intervention and prevention. Prior to working with CPI, John spent eleven years in the field of mental health serving individual with severe and persistent mental illness. In this field worked as a direct care provider, supervisor, and director of programs in group homes, day treatme facilities, and assertive case management programs. In addition to working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness John worked with abused and neglected children, refugees, and senior citizens.
Steve Adkins, Treasurer
Steve graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1994. At only 26, Steve founded Cornerstone Plumbing in Waukesha. He is a Master Plumber in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Tennessee and is Auto-Cad proficient. Steve also holds an associates degree in the culinary arts. Steve and his wife Jessica have 4 children. Steve's hobbies include; backpacking, rock climbing, camping and traveling domestically and abroad. He looks forward to owning his own airplane in the future.
Laura Malugade J.D. , Secretary
Laura is a native of Wisconsin and a graduate of Marquette University Law School. She spent her first two years of undergraduate study at Gordon College and completed her degree in Political Science at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. After college, Laura and her husband moved to Tennessee where she served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA leader for two years developing service learning and community service infrastructure for Tennessee colleges and universities. Laura is an attorney at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C.
Reverend Willie Davis
Pastor Davis is the senior pastor and founder of Invisible Reality Ministries. For the past 20 years he has dedicated his life to restoring families, empowering youth and building strong communities throughout the city of Milwaukee, focusing primarily within the underserved areas of Milwaukee. Pastor Davis is the Vice President of Community First, a housing and wrap around services organization in the central city of Milwaukee. Additionally, he sits on the Strategy and Executive team of Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground, a community organizing group representing 50 churches and organizations in the region. Davis has provided key leadership in several access to healthcare initiatives with the Medical College of Wisconsin as well as worked with the Community Transformation Project at Marquette University.
Jim Hunzinger, EVP/LEED AP BD + C, LEED AP Homes at Hunzinger Construction Company
Jim has served as the Executive Vice President of Hunzinger Construction Company since 1981 and as Project Principal for many of Hunzinger's signature projects. Jim sits on several notable boards in the Milwaukee area. He is passionate about Education, Environmental issues, Disaster and Humanitarian Relief, Politics and Social Services.
